Garden Grove Landscaping is committed to providing a respectful, welcoming, accessible environment for all persons with disabilities in a way that is respectful of the dignity and independence of people with disabilities and in a manner which takes into account the person's disabilities.

Garden Grove is committed to becoming a barrier free environment and meeting the requirements of all existing legislation and our own policies and goals to identifying, removing and preventing barriers to people with disabilities that might interfere with their ability to interact with Garden Grove Landscaping.

Garden Grove is committed to, and will strive to ensure that, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), 2005, its regulations and standards are observed.

Customer Care

All employees are expected to treat customers with courtesy and respect at all times.

From time to time the Company will have to deal with difficult customers. In such circumstances employees shall maintain high standards of professionalism and fairness. Rudeness to our customers in not acceptable in any circumstances.

Employees should be aware of and work to any service standards applicable to their area of responsibility.

Employee's general actions, behaviour and demeanor while at work should be such as to present the Corporation as a professional organization. Employees should avoid any action that might imply an uncaring attitude.

Purpose

Garden Grove Landscaping is committed to being responsive to the needs of all customers. We strive to provide quality goods and services that are accessible to all. The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines on providing goods and services to people with disabilities that will facilitate accessibility. This policy establishes accessibility standards for customer service in accordance with the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Ontario Regulation 429/07.

Garden Grove Landscaping will make reasonable efforts to ensure policies, practices and procedures and the delivery of goods and services provided to persons with disabilities and all our customers are in keeping with the principles of dignity, equity/equality of outcome, independence and integration and we will communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability and communication needs.

Health and Safety

Garden Grove is vitally interested in providing a safe and healthy environment and will take every reasonable precaution to protect our employees, customers and visitors from harm. We are committed to providing a strong safety program that protects our staff, our customer’s property and the public from accidents, injuries or illness.  Each staff member of our company including management is responsible for health and safety and will be accountable for their actions to comply and enforce the company’s overall safety initiatives.  All employees are responsible for following all policies and procedures, to work safely and wherever possible improve safety measures.

An injury and accident-free workplace is our goal. To achieve this goal, we shall endeavour to develop, implement, and evaluate our health and safety program to be as effective as possible and by requiring that all employees receive ongoing training in health and safety. Garden Grove has successfully gone through the process of obtaining membership accreditation with ContractorCheck; a Health and Safety accreditation program for contractors. This assessment of our health and safety initiatives verifies that our company has continued its due diligence and adherence to our health and safety program and OHS laws and regulations.

We are committed to comply with all Health and Safety legislation; Garden Grove considers the Occupational Health and Safety Act to be the minimum standard.
