We are thrilled to share with you that Garden Grove Landscaping has recently received two awards at the annual Snow and Ice Symposium hosted by SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association).
Excellence in Business Award
This award recognizes that a company has excelled in business, operations and community over the past year. Earning this award shows a company’s employees, industry peers and clients that the efforts the company has put forth paid off.
Garden Grove was the ONLY North American recipient this year, although this award could be presented to as many as four companies.
At Garden Grove Landscaping we provide superior landscape and snow management with a focus on safety, quality and value, while also driving industry innovation and creating an unparalleled client experience. Our goal is to continually raise the bar in every aspect of providing the best possible services to our clients.
With years of industry experience we understand the basic services that most customers expect from their landscape providers. That is why we are driven to service our customers using a pro-active approach in any season. Planning months in advance we ensure that we are fully prepared to not only manage the needs of customer sites, but to do it safely and reliably.
When preparing a custom landscape and snow solution, we make it our priority to review the property and expectations with our client, detailing the service that they require and integrate their site into our planning process.
Safety Awards are given to companies who promote safe and effective snow and ice removal procedures. The award is presented to the professionals who maintained exceptional safety standards to help protect their employees, clients, and the public during the 2016-2017 snow season.
Garden Grove was 1 of only 2 Canadian companies to receive this award.
Garden Grove is vitally interested in providing a safe and healthy environment and will take every reasonable precaution to protect our employees, customers and visitors from harm. We are committed to providing a strong safety program that protects our staff, our customer’s property and the public from accidents, injuries or illness. To achieve this goal, we endeavour to develop, implement, and evaluate our health and safety program to be as effective as possible and by requiring that all employees receive ongoing training in health and safety. Each staff member is responsible for health and safety and will be accountable for their actions to comply with and enforce the company’s overall safety initiatives.
Garden Grove has successfully obtained accreditation with ContractorCheck, a Health and Safety accreditation program for contractors. This assessment of our health and safety initiatives verifies that our company has continued its due diligence and adherence to our health and safety program and OHS laws and regulations.
Garden Grove is passionate about the development of our people and has initiated a new Garden Grove University program to layout the framework for development within the organization. This program is to encourage individual professional development by providing company and industry specific learning. Garden Grove is committed to helping our staff who have a passion for the landscape and snow industry to achieve their personal goals. Through various initiatives, including company best-practices for business, we are also sponsoring the Horticultural Technician Apprenticeship Program for Real Seal Certification (College of Trades of Ontario), Landscape Industry Certified (Landscape Ontario/CNLA), Certified Snow Professional and Accredited Snow Manager (SIMA).
As delighted as we are to receive these awards we recognize that our great team of professionals has made it possible. We are proud of them all!
Don’t forget, our service region extends throughout the Golden Horseshoe, the Greater Toronto Area, and now Guelph, Cambridge and Kitchener – Waterloo.
