We are
Better Together
June 10, 2020
The new decade began in a way none of us had expected or faced before.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts go out to those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery, and our prayers and deepest condolences for those who have lost loved ones during this time.
We would also like to take a moment to offer our sincere appreciation to all those working the front line, doctors, nurses, first responders and the staff of essential service businesses in our communities, for their dedication and service during these trying times.
Second, Garden Grove is focused on the health and safety of our employees, clients, partners and vendors along with our fellow community members. We remain available to serve you and are laser-focused on your success. We take our role in your business very seriously and we are grateful to have the opportunity you have provided us.
We understand the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in residents at our multi-family properties traveling less and working from home more, and our office and industrial clients have found themselves distanced from their workplaces, colleagues and resources. As the pandemic prompted new ways of living and working for everyone in our global community, we have continued to make the health, safety and well-being of our clients and their tenants or residents, guests, service providers and employees our highest priority.
Garden Grove COVID-19 Mitigation Measures Include:
- Making sure all Garden Grove team members are practicing proper personal hygiene measures, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO)
- Advising our team members to stay home if they show any symptoms of illness and to follow both Federal and Provincial guidelines regarding testing and self-quarantine
- Updating our COVID-19 Response Safety Plan including hygiene measures, preventative and contagion measures, social distancing techniques measures, and employee mental health awareness and training
- As new information is brought to light we are adjusting our business practices accordingly. We started this immediately as the crisis began and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
As we plan how to navigate and excel in the “next normal,” we balance being prepared with being adaptable. And we must balance our need for connection with the requirements to keep each other safe while performing essential functions necessary for the health, safety and well-being of our communities and families, and the great places we live, work and play. We will do this together.
As U.S. President Abraham Lincoln said, “The best way to predict the future is to create it.” And we will be doing this together too. I am inspired every day by how we collaborate and support each other, even as challenges remain.
Our team here at Garden Grove joins me in wishing you, your families and associates well.
